The Yoders chose Community Builders because of their reputation and workmanship. "We knew they were builders with integrity," says Luke. "That is important to us! We've recommended them many times."
Building and maintaining their spotless reputation in Michigan's Thumb has been--and continues to be--an integral part of Community Builder's business model.
"The quality of their work is superior; it's what attracted us," says Luke. "And with that quality of work came timeliness and value. They were quick with their work and meet our budget."
Even when taking the greatest care in building, things can deteriorate over the years. Case in point at the Yoder residence: glue used in hanging drywall ceilings. The Yoders and Community Builders discovered that it wasn't holding long term as it was supposed to and began sagging 10-15 years after installation.
"They came immediately when our ceiling threatened to collapse as the glue let loose and repaired all of the ceilings to make sure it wouldn't be a problem again," explains Luke.
Community Builders has only improved their skills and business practices since they worked on the Yoders' home over two decades ago. They've built upon the foundation they established with early projects for families like the Yoders.
"They built the home we dreamed of: modest and in our price range. We have been very happy with it for over 22 years."
